Itinerary

Day 1: Casablanca - Rabat - Chefchaouen

Pick up from Casablanca and make a visit to the Hassan II Mosque, then a short drive around the paved Corniche of Casablanca before heading to Rabat. The city of Rabat is the official capital of Morocco dating back to the 12th century. Visit the landmarks of the city including the dramatic Udaya Kasbah, Hassan Tower, Mohamed VI Mausoleum before continuing on the track to the blue city of Chefchaouen where we will spend our first night.

Day 2: Full-Day Exploring Chefchaouen

Our 12 days gay tour of Morocco will include a full-day exploring the charming city of Chefchaouen with its beautifully painted streets, doors and windows. Visit the Kasbah, which is located in the heart of the Medina, the Ras el-Ma Spring before getting lost in its alleyways while taking lots of shots.

Get back to the Utta Hammam Square where you can enjoy a drink while watching the passers-by absorbing the local culture.

Day 3: Chefchaouen - Volubilis - Meknes - Fes

Today, your private driver/guide will pick you from your accommodation in Chefchaouen for resuming our cultural gay tour of Morocco driving across the spectacular Rif Mountains to Volubilis where you will explore the Roman Ruins with an expert local tour guide.

Continue on the track to Meknes, which is another imperial city that was founded by the late Sultan Moulay Ismail. Take pictures of the impressive Bab Mansour, then stretch your legs in the El-Hedim Square and the nearby market before visiting the granaries and stables. Head to Fes in the evening where we will spend our third night in a comfortable Riad/hotel.

Day 4: Explore Fes - Midelt

After breakfast, you will devote the first half-day exploring the best of Fes including the Fes el-Bali, which is the largest car-free district in the world and is a UNESCO-listed world heritage site. Meander around the countless alleyways that are shrouded in mystery visit the Chouara Tanneries, passing-by mosques and madrasas, and much more.

In the afternoon, we will head further south to Midelt including a short break in the charming city of Ifrane, then the cedar forest of the Middle Atlas that hosts a colony of Barbary Macaques.

Day 5: Midelt - Ziz Valley - Merzouga Desert

Today, Our 12 days gay tour of Morocco will take us to the Sahara desert of Erg Chebbi crossing the spectacular Atlas Mountains, and taking pictures at the panoramic Ziz Valley. Arrive in the desert, and go on a camel ride experience across the golden sand dune soft Erg Chebbi while watching the mesmerizing view of the sunset.

Get to the luxury desert camp where you will enjoy a delicious meal for dinner in a magical ambiance. Culminate the day with a relaxing sleep in your private ensuite tent.

Day 6: Merzouga Desert - Todra Gorges - Dades Valley

Early wake up in the morning to attend the miraculous view of the sunrise. After breakfast, we will resume our 12 days cultural Morocco gay tour driving through the city of Erfoud with the possibility to include a visit to a local fossil factory. Stretch your legs in the impressive Todra Gorges (canyons) before spending our sixth night in the lush Dades Valley.

Day 7: Dades Valley - Nomad Caves - Skoura - Ouarzazate

After breakfast, you will head to Ouarzazate (Hollywood of Africa) to visit a nomad family that lives in a cave, then visit the Amredil Kasbah in the Skoura Palmeraie Village before getting to Ouarzazate where we will spend the night in a comfortable hotel/Riad.

Day 8: Ouarzazate - Ait Benhaddou - Atlas Mountains - Marrakech

Today, you may want to visit the Atlas Film Studios that have turned the region of Ouarzazate into a backdrop for shooting many international and national films including Lawrence of Arabia, Kingdom of Heaven, Prince of Persia, and many others.

Have a guided walking tour around the dramatic Ait Benhaddou Village which is listed by UNESCO as a world heritage site. The village served as a commercial center in the former caravan route that used to connect Marrakech with the Sahara.

Our 12 days gay tour of Morocco will take us to Marrakech with a nice drive across the Atlas Mountains over the Tizi n’Tichka Pass (2260 m). Arrive in Marrakech in the late afternoon.

Day 9: Full-Day Exploring Marrakech

Today, you will devote the day to exploring what Marrakech has to offer including the Ville Nouvelle that was built by the French, the botanical gardens of Majorelle, and the Koutoubia Mosque, which is the landmark of Marrakech. Have a guided walking tour around the Medina covering its landmarks like the Saadian Tombs, the Bahia Palace, and the Souks that are divided into sections before ending the tour in the vibrant Jemaa el-Fna Square.

Day 10: Free Day in Marrakech
