Day 1: Tangier - Chefchaouen

Meet & greet upon arrival in the Tangier Ville/Tangier Med Port, Ibn Battuta International Airport or pick up from your accommodation. Drive through the spectacular Rif Mountains with varied landscapes, unique flora and fauna along with the Berber Villages that are built in adobe & stones offering ideal opportunities for taking nice pictures. 

Day 2: Explore Chefchaouen

After having breakfast in your hotel/Riad, you’ll spend the day exploring what Chefchaouen has to offer. This charming city with its blue-painted streets turning into an international hub for anyone looking for a place where magic intermingles warmth. Start your tour from the famous Utta El-Hammam Square with its lined cafes and restaurants overlooking the Kasbah (fortress). Meander around the intricate alleyways of the Medina while enjoying the immense beauty of its buildings streets and doors.

Arrive in the Ras el-Ma Spring, which is a cultural hub with women wash carpets and clothes. The views from here are impressive. You may want to have a soft hike uphill where you can get a complete panoramic view of the Medina. Return back to the square where you can enjoy a nice lunch while watching the passers-by. In the evening, you may want to have another tour of the Medina to appreciate the cultural feature of the locals…

Day 3: Chefchaouen - Volubilis - Meknes - Fes

Today, you’ll continue on the track further south to the Fes with a nice drive through the spectacular Rif Mountains with its panoramic views. Have a guided walking tour of the Roman Ruins of Volubilis where you can learn about the Roman Civilisation that contributed in shaping the rich history & cultural diversity of Morocco. Continue to Meknes, the former Imperial city in the 17th and 18th centuries. 

Meknes is often called the Moroccan Versailles and thanks to the late Sultan Moulay Ismail who put great investments in turning the city into an international attraction. You may want to start from the impressive Bab Mansour Gate, then meander around the olive market before visiting the Moulay Ismail Mausoleum with its unique architecture. Visit the former Royal Granaries and Stables, then head to Fesn which you will reach in the evening.

Day 4: Explore Fes & Drive to Midelt

Today, you’ll spend the first half-day to explore the best of Fes with a local tour guide. Fes is the oldest Imperial city of Morocco dating back to the 7th century and is the spiritual capital of kingdom. You’ll start your guided tour of the city with a nice drive over the hill where you can get a complete panoramic view of the Fes el-Bali (Oldest Fes).

Your guide will shed light on the history behind the construction of the city being the largest car-free urban district in the world and for this reason it has been listed by the UNESCO. Drive to Mellah (former Jewish Quarter) where you can take pictures by the golden gates of the Royal Palace. Stretch your legs by the former Jewish Market while learning about the lifestyle of the Jews and how they used to live in peaceful coexistence with Moroccan Muslims.

You’ll, then, have a guided walking tour of the Fes el-Bali with its thousands of intricate alleyways, lined cafes, bustling Souks that are organized into sections. Pass by the Koranic Schools and visit Museums along with the famous Chouara Tanneries. After lunch, you’ll drive further south through the charming city of Ifran that was listed as the second cleanest city in the world in 2015. Have another short break in the lush cedar forest of Azrou that hosts a colony of Barbary Macaques that you may possibly see and even feed. Cross the Middle Atlas Mountains before reaching our hotel near the city of Midelt.

Day 5: Midelt - Merzouga & Camel Ride

After having breakfast, you’ll carry on your journey further south to the Sahara Desert of Erg Chebbi. You’ll drive through the snaky road of the Tizi N’Tlghamt Pass. Include a short break for taking pictures in the impressive Ziz Gorge and the palm-dotted Ziz Valley before arriving in the desert in the late afternoon.

Have a camel ride experience in the sand dunes of Erg Chebbi while enjoying the miraculous view of the sunset. You may want to experience the sand boarding before returning to our luxurious desert camp. Enjoy a delicious dinner in a romantic ambiance in our tented restaurant or under the stars. Have a time for entertainment before culminating the day with a relaxing sleep in your private en-suite tent or under the stars.

Day 6: Merzouga - Todgha Gorge - Dades Valley

Early wake up in the morning, attend the majestic view of the sunrise atop the sand dune. Have a refreshing breakfast, take a shower and head west to the Dades Valley through Erfoud. This administrative center is known for the fossil excavation and hence a number fossil factories have come to life in charge of the excavation to polishing…Drive through the palm oasis of Tinjdad to the impressive Todra Gorges. 

Stretch your legs in this charming canyon that has been an attraction among mountain climbers and Moroccan seeking cool weather while enjoying the views. After lunch, you’ll drive to the Dades Valley, which you’ll reach in the late afternoon.

Day 7: Dades Valley - Nomad Caves - Skoura - Ouarzazate

After having breakfast in your hotel/Riad, you’ll continue on the track further west with an interesting drive in the very heart of the Atlas Mountains where we can include a visit to a nomad family that still live in a cave. Despite the toughness of life but these people are very welcoming and warm offering an opportunity to learn about their unique style of life. Enjoy the breathtaking views while driving through the lush valleys with its ever-flowing rivers before arriving in Ouarzazate through Kelaat M’gouna and Skoura.

Day 8: Ouarzazate - Ait Benhaddou - High Atlas - Marrakech

After breakfast in your Hotel, we will start  our private morocco tours by travelling through to Ouarzazate Via Kelaat Magouna the Rose capital and  the road of the thousand Kasbahs and Skoura then we will reach Ouarzazate “Hollywood of Africa ” where they shoot many big movies like Hidalgo , Sahara, Game of Thrones  etc… after that we will drive to visit Ait Ben Haddou Kasbah The world heritage site , after lunch we will drive to Marrakech through the High Atlas Mountains.
