Itinerary

Day 1: Essaouira - Marrakech

After breakfast We will start our private 8 day Morocco Tour from Essaouira to Tangier the first stop will be at Argan cooperative to see how they work it then continue to Marrakech the Red city of Morocco where we will meet our guide to start exploring this city and Overnight stay will be at Riad in the Medina (BB).

Overnight accommodation in a comfortable hotel/Riad including bed and breakfast.

Day 2: Marrakech - Ait Benhaddou - Ouarzazate

After breakfast we will start our 8 day Morocco desert tour from Essaouira to Tangier to Ouarzazate by crossing the High Atlas Mountains 2260 m, we will be The Ksar of Aït Ben Haddou, Listed as World Heritage by UNESCO in 1987, is an iconic adobe and raw brick pre-Saharan architecture example located in southern Morocco,many big movies were turn there like Game of Throne,Sahara , Hidalgo … after lunch we will head to Ouarzazate “The Hollywood of Africa “.

Day 3: Ouarzazate - Rose Valley - Boutghrar - Dades Valley

After breakfast we will start our 8 day desert tour from Essaouira to Tangier by visiting Amridil Kasbah a historic fortified residence or kasbah (tighremt in Amazigh) in the oasis of Skoura, in Morocco. It is considered among the most impressive kasbahs of its kind in Morocco and was formerly featured on the Moroccan 50 dirham note then we will continue our way through the Road of Thaousand Kasbah and Rose Valley where we will have lunch then drive to Dades Valley via Boutghrar where we will take an off-roading to visit Nomads that live in their Caves,we will have tea with them and see their lifesyle.

Day 4: Dades Valley - Todra Gorge - Merzouga Desert

After breakfast we will start our joureny to Sahara desert the first stop will be in Todgha Gorges where we will have time to walk and streash your legs and take pictures then head too the South lunch will be near Tinjdad village then continue to Merzouga desert where you will ride camels to spend the night in the camp (Dinner & breakfast included)

Day 5: Explore Merzouga Desert

Wake up early to see sunrise in the dunes and after breakfast back to meet your guide-driver to start your easy day exploring Merzouga desert,we will visit nomads who live in their tent , visit Khamlia village originaly from Mali and Sudan they were slaves you will see their Gnaoua Music and lunch will be there then back to your Hotel to relax Overnight at Riad-Hotel (dinner & breakfast included)

Day 6: Merzouga - Midelt - Ifrane - Fes

Today you have a long drive of this 8 day Morocco Desert Tour from Essaouira to Tangier, the first stop will be in Ziz Valley then continue our way to Fes via Atlas Mountains lunch will be near Midelt then we will drive to the north we will stop in Azrou Forest to see Monkies then Ifrane “The Switzerland of Morocco” and we will get to Fes afternoon.

Overnight at Riad in the Medina (Bed and breakfast included)

Day 7: Explore Fes and Drive to Chefchaouen

After breakfast you will start exploring Fes with a local guide, the first stop will be at Kings Palace and Jewish Quarter then drive to a nice panoramic view of Fes after that we will drive you to Mosaic factory where you will see diferent handcraft after that we will drive you to the Medina where you will start your walking tour of Fes and after lunch we will drive to Chefchauen.

Overnight will be at Riad-hotel (bed & breakfast included)

Day 8: Explore Chefchaouen and Drive to Tangier

What's the best way to fly to/from Morocco?

Do I need a Visa to enter Morocco?

For citizens of many countries, you do not need a visa to enter Morocco. You will receive an entry stamp in your passport upon arrival.

You do not need to apply for a tourist visa for the Morocco Tour if you are a citizen of the United States, Canada, Australia, Great Britain or any of the other countries listed here.

You will need a passport that is valid for six months beyond your stay and a round-trip airline ticket. The passport must have at least one blank page.

How do exchange money in Morocco?

If you have US dollars, Euros, or British Pounds, you can exchange money at an exchange bureau upon arrival at the airport or at your hotel but the rate won’t be quite as good as exchange bureaus we’ll find elsewhere. Our guide can help find the best place to exchange your cash for local currency.

There is often a problem making a change in Morocco, and it can be difficult to pay with large banknotes, so be sure to get smaller denomination banknotes (10s and 20s) as this will make your life easier when paying for inexpensive items such as drinks and souvenirs.

Will we bring luggage to the Sahara Desert?

Yes. We will be spending just one or two nights maximum in the Sahara and while we will be traveling to the tented camp via camel (optional), the luggage will be taken via vehicle or you can securely lock it in the hotel/Riad in charge of managing the desert camp.

Will we have power in the tents at the luxury camp in the Sahara?

Yes, there’s definitely power in the tents.
