Day 1: Marrakech - High Atlas - Ait Benhaddou - Dades Valley
Pick up from your hotel/Riad in Marrakech at 8 am, then head for a journey of a lifetime experience with one of our driver/guides who know Morocco like the back of their hand. Enjoy the breathtaking views with the varied landscapes of the High Atlas Mountains with its unique fauna & flora. Drive through the spectacular Tizi n’Tichka Pass (2260) before reaching the dramatic Ait Benhaddou Village.
Ait Benhaddou is listed by the UNESCO as a World Heritage Site consisting of many Kasbahs (fortresses), which are a striking example of the southern architecture. Learn the historical background behind its foundation, the famous adjacent caravan route from Morocco to the Sub-Saharan lands along the films that were shot here like Gladiator, Sahara, Lawrence of Arabia, Prince of Persia, Kingdom of Heaven & many others.
After lunch, you’ll continue on the track further south crossing Ouarzazate (Hollywood of Africa), palm oasis of Skoura, then the valley of Roses with the possibility to include a short break to learn about this local produce before arriving to the Dades Valley, which is our final destination of today’s journey.
Day 2: Dades Valley - Todra Gorge - Merzouga & Camel Ride
After having breakfast in your hotel/Riad in the Dades Valley, you’ll resume your journey further southeast while including a short break in the impressive Todra Valley & Gorges (Canyons). The views of the palm valley along with the canyons are just stunning, you may want to stretch your legs while enjoy the views with the possibility to spot mountain climbers or the locals that are used to coming to this cooler to chill out & freshen up escaping the heat, especially during the summer.
After lunch, which will take place near Tinejdad, you’ll drive through Erfoud to the Sahara Desert of Erg Chebbi where a warm welcome with tea takes place upon arrival. Now, it’s time to saddle the camels up for you to ride so as to enjoy the miraculous view of the sunset atop the golden sand dunes. Return to the desert camp where you’ll have a nice dinner served in our tented restaurant or under the stars, have time for entertainment before culminating the day with a relaxing sleep in your private en-suite tent or under the stars.
Day 3: Merzouga - Erfoud - Ziz Valley - Midelt -Ifran - Fes
Early wake in the morning, you may want to climb up the sand dune to attend the majestic view of the sunrise. After breakfast, you’ll head north with a long drive through Erfoud, famous for the production of dates & the excavation of fossils, then to the impressive Ziz Valley where you’ll include a short break for taking pictures. Have lunch in Midelt, then include another short break in the UNESCO preserved cedar forest of the Middle Atlas where you can, possibly, see & even feed the endangered Barbary Apes.
Have another break in Ifran city, a little town in the Middle Atlas that was listed as the 2nd cleanest city in the world in 2015 & is often called the pseudo-Switzerland Moroccan city due to its unique architecture. You’ll arrive to Fes in the evening & we will make sure to drop you off in your accommodation.

For citizens of many countries, you do not need a visa to enter Morocco. You will receive an entry stamp in your passport upon arrival.
You do not need to apply for a tourist visa for the Morocco Tour if you are a citizen of the United States, Canada, Australia, Great Britain or any of the other countries listed here.
You will need a passport that is valid for six months beyond your stay and a round-trip airline ticket. The passport must have at least one blank page.
If you have US dollars, Euros, or British Pounds, you can exchange money at an exchange bureau upon arrival at the airport or at your hotel but the rate won’t be quite as good as exchange bureaus we’ll find elsewhere. Our guide can help find the best place to exchange your cash for local currency.
